If the financial report released on Monday by the U.S. Department of Transportation is true, U.S. Airlines made nearly $6 billion in airline fees for 2010. $3.4 billion were from baggage fees and 2.3 billion in reservation change fees.
Believe it or not, the numbers have actually decreased since 2009 where airlines made nearly $8 billion. While Americans still complain about the cost of fees, they’re the same people still paying instead of taking the cheaper option.
